This policy explains how Maraschino Dreams Inc, operating Mimi Wade at mimiwade.com, collects, uses and protects your personal information. By using this website or placing an order, you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
When you shop or browse with us we collect your name, billing and shipping address, email address, phone number and order details. Payment information is collected and processed securely by our payment providers; we never see or store your full card number. We also automatically collect device and browsing information such as your IP address, browser type, time zone and the pages you view, through cookies and similar technologies. If you contact us, we keep a record of that correspondence.
How we use your information
We use your information to process, fulfil and ship your orders, to communicate with you about them, to handle exchanges and customer service, to screen for fraud and other risks, to meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations, and to improve our products and website. Where you have consented, we also send you marketing emails, and you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any message.
Who we share it with
We share information with the service providers who help us run the business: Shopify, which powers our website and checkout; our payment processors; shipping carriers and customs authorities where required to deliver your order; and our email, marketing and analytics providers. These providers may only use your information to perform services for us. We do not sell your personal information. We may also disclose information where required by law, in response to lawful requests, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights, property or safety of Maraschino Dreams Inc, our customers or others. If our business is sold or reorganised, customer information may transfer as part of that transaction.
International transfers
Your information may be stored and processed in the United States and in other countries where our service providers operate. Those countries may have different data protection laws than your own.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as necessary to run the business and to satisfy legal, tax and accounting requirements, and we keep other information only as long as we need it for the purposes described above.
Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your personal information, and our checkout is handled over a secure, encrypted connection. No method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to correct or delete it, to receive a copy of it, to opt out of marketing communications, and to opt out of the sharing of your information for targeted advertising. California residents have additional rights under the CCPA and CPRA, including the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them. To make a request, email mimi@mimiwade.com and we will respond within the time required by law. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
Cookies
We use cookies to keep your cart working, remember your preferences and understand how the store is used. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings, though some parts of the site may not function properly without them.
Children's privacy
Our store is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact us and we will delete it.
Third party links
Our website may link to other websites, including social media. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes to our practices or for legal reasons. The revised version will be posted on this page.
